No Taxation Without Representation
Congress no longer represents the interests of average Americans due to the overwhelming influence of special interest money on our electoral process.
Their dependence on an exceptionally small portion of the population for campaign funding leaves them unaccountable to the people.
Without representation, we have no say in the laws our government enforces upon us. Without the ability to influence our laws, we are not free.
Add a Fair Elections Amendment to the U.S. Constitution through our state legislatures.
The only way to fix this corrupt system and protect federal and state campaign finance legislation for future generations is to permanently encode fair elections into our Constitution.
The Constitution provides two methods of proposing amendments. One path goes through the states, the other through Congress. Either way, any amendment proposed still has to be ratified by 3/4 of the states.
Congress isn’t going to solve this on their own - they’re part of the problem!
The proven and effective way to amend the U.S. Constitution is by states applying for a limited proposing convention as authorized in the Constitution. Over half of our 27 amendments began with states calling for a convention, thus forcing Congress to act.
